Bob XXL is our plus-size BBQ apron for men’s clothing sizes L–XXL. It offers a more generous cut with adjustable length. A smaller version in Coffee Brown is available for men’s M–XL.

Bob Pro was developed for professional kitchen use. Its cross-back straps distribute the weight across your shoulders for comfort during long shifts. The fastenings make it quick to put on and take off. Classic Bob has an adjustable neck strap. Both use full-grain buffalo leather and have three open pockets and side loops. Pro comes in Havana Brown for men’s M–XL.

The leather versions — Bob, Bob XXL and Bob Pro — use full-grain buffalo leather, a natural material that develops an individual patina. Bob in Denim Blue combines cotton canvas free from azo dyes with full-grain buffalo leather. It also works as a kitchen, bar or barista apron. Canvas and Pro fit men’s M–XL; the leather neck-strap version also comes in a larger fit for men’s L–XXL.

Bob has three open pockets for small essentials. Side loops offer extra attachment points, for example for a towel, keeping accessories close at hand. Only store sharp knives with suitable blade protection.

Air the apron well after use. Gently remove loose dirt with a soft brush and test leather-care products on an inconspicuous area first. The leather apron is not intended to be washed or soaked. Signs of use are part of its individual patina.

Yes. A specialist flame-retardant treatment suitable for the leather can further reduce flammability. Leather already has comparatively low natural flammability. Choose a product whose manufacturer confirms suitability for this leather and use as an apron, and follow the application instructions. An ordinary waterproofing treatment does not automatically have this effect. Bob remains a BBQ and kitchen apron, not fireproof protective clothing.
