There is currently no brand that we can look up to. Even the largest companies in the industry still rely exclusively on classic chrome tanning. Many manufacturers change the surface of the leather in their designs or suggest a higher material thickness by using plastic lamination. The term "natural leather" is also inflated, but is rarely accurate. It is often about uniformity, more appearance than substance.

In the 21st century, a good travel bag with a shoe compartment can also convey a good and honest feeling and should not make empty promises. We largely avoid using plastic in the production of our shoe compartment travel bags. Our leather or canvas is not laminated with plastic. Our outer fabrics do not contain any plastic fibers. We do not even use nylon or polyester for the inner lining of the shoe compartment. The leather used is sustainably vegetable tanned, even if not completely free of chrome.
