Consistent is sometimes not consistent enough. With our travel bag »Steve« we wanted to take the adventure look to the extreme and create an homage to classic expedition luggage. David Livingstone's luggage might have looked something like this on one of his numerous expeditions across South Africa in the 19th century. He discovered the famous Victoria Falls, was the first European to cross the Kalahari Desert and found the source of the Congo.
The travel bag »Steve« is a weekender-style bag for longer trips of up to 7 days. The bag can be casually slung over the shoulder or elegantly carried by hand using the leather straps. There are two useful storage compartments in a cargo design on the outside, which can be opened quickly when needed. There is also a large zipped compartment on the back.
The bag is of high quality. All wear points are covered with leather on the outside. All stress points are additionally reinforced. The bottom of the bag is padded and elegantly quilted in "diamond stitch". Our DRAKENSBERG signature element.

Pure cotton & fine saddle leather
Our Kimberley collection is made of extra-robust cotton canvas, which is produced in Germany. The production is particularly resource-efficient, as only recycled water is used for the dyeing process, which is then reused in a closed purification process. The dyeing is of course azo dye-free.
Our saddle leather, which is particularly thick and robust, comes from water buffalo and is vegetable tanned. It comes from an LWG silver-certified tannery. Our leather gets its special patina from a special wax that is applied by hand.
Pure cotton lining
Our lining is made of pure cotton twill, a soft and natural material. Its special weave gives it a fine, diagonal structure that creates a particularly elegant look. This high-quality lining underlines the luxurious character of our Kimberley collection and at the same time ensures high functionality. This means your valuables remain well protected and you can enjoy the comfort that only natural materials can offer.
