Our sophisticated Heritage collection is specially designed for intensive use in all weather conditions. Made with craftsmanship perfection from waxed cotton twill (22oz) and robust saddle leather. Each bag in this collection is water-repellent and offers protection for your equipment, even in bad weather.
The saddle leather used in this collection is made from high-quality buffalo leather. It comes from an LWG silver certified tannery. This leather gets its special color from a special two-tone effect achieved through a wax treatment.
Our copper rivets, hammered in by hand and virtually indestructible, are used at all stress points and develop a beautiful turquoise patina over time, which underlines the unique character of each bag.
Pure cotton lining
Our lining is made of pure cotton twill, a soft and natural material. Its special weave gives it a fine, diagonal structure that creates a particularly elegant look. This high-quality lining underlines the luxurious character of our Heritage collection and at the same time ensures high functionality. We are Daniel and Christoph and we are living our dream. Although we are both completely different, we share a great passion: traveling. We founded the DRAKENSBERG label because we want to inspire people to recognize the true value of travel and to strive for it. To see the journey as a destination and to grow from it.
